WHAT IS NEET ?
NEET or National Entrance cum Eligibility Test is an entrance exam for medical courses such as MBBS and BDS in both government and private medicalcolleges. NEET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Based on the following parameters the candidates will be eligible for NEET Exam :
Educational Qualification | Candidate who have passed the class 12 board exam from science stream. Those appearing for class 12 exam can also apply for NEET. |
Nationality | Candidate Must be Citizen of India. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and even Foreign Nationals can apply for NEET |
Age Criteria | Candidates who are 17 years and above as on the date of admissions . |
Subjects to be Qualified | At least Five mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, English and an elective subject. |
Number of Attempts | The maximum number of attempts for NEET has not been directed by the NTA. Candidate can appear for NEET as many times as they want to. |
Marks Eligibility | 50% for General Category, 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC in the Qualifying Exam and 45% marks for Persons with Disabilities. |
STEPS TO APPLY FOR NEET EXAM
